TN Enhanced Carry Permit

Meet the Tennessee requirements for an enhanced handgun carry permit. Covers Tennessee firearms laws, safe handling and storage, situational awareness, and the legal use of force. Includes classroom instruction and live-fire qualification. This is not an NRA course but follows NRA safety principles and satisfies the state training requirement for the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit.

Prerequisites

Basic pistol proficiency or NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course.

Restrictions

Must meet Tennessee eligibility requirements for a carry permit. Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident. Must be a Tennessee resident.

What to Bring

Handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, holster (optional).
