Absolutely. The NRA Basic Pistol course is specifically designed for people with zero experience. We start from the very beginning with safety fundamentals and build from there.

For the NRA Basic Pistol course, firearms can be provided if needed. For the TN Enhanced Carry Permit and NRA Defensive Pistol courses, you should bring your own handgun and ammunition. Check the course details for specific equipment requirements.

You must be at least 21 years old (or 18 for military), a US citizen or lawful permanent resident, and a Tennessee resident. You'll need to complete the Enhanced Carry Permit course and apply through the Tennessee Department of Safety.

We keep classes small to ensure personalized instruction. Maximum class size varies by course but is always limited to ensure quality one-on-one time with each student.

Classroom instruction takes place at the Moose Lodge, 6903 Mundal Road, Knoxville, TN 37918. Range sessions are held at a local shooting range. Details are provided upon registration.
